Jason Arnold – Owner #147 F-22
I have been an avid FBoat sailor for the past 15+ years and my passion has driven me mad enough to build one because production (and modifications) are from from ready to sail, therefore, I must…
I have been exclusively sailing multihulls since my introduction to sailing by my Father in Law who then was sailing a “Stock Cruising” F-31 Corsair. I have been very fortunate to have successfully competed with him across North America in many regatta’s. I experienced the spectacular transitions, the breaks, the wins, the losses & most of all the personal battles overcome. I am grateful to have been exposed to Multihull’s by such a great man and accomplished sailor. Cheekee Monkee
I have a great family who have been both participants & support, having the opportunity to crew & cruise (sorta) throughout the years and today my 3 children are actively sailing Open Bic’s & Lasers. My wife and I 1st decided that we wanted to have a Multi when we attended the British Columbia Multihull Society – Port Browing Sail in – BCMS and were at the beach party with her portable blender for her lime margarettas… salted
For the past 7 years I have been sailing A-Class Catamarans, recently when doing repairs to the dagger board trunks, decided a spinnaker was in order & because I fell in with Bad Kitty – next thing I knew I was scouting the Carbon Bow Sprit, while we were sizing up a new Kite. Needless to say its not class legal but I can at least remove it for class racing. My fun factor went way, way up!
I live in the Pacific North West sailing between USA & Canada, we have highly active Multihull fleets up here competing in both National and International Regatta’s in our back yard.
